  1. I am seeking information on Pietro Saija, born 26 July 1834; married Caterine Giordano born about 1834. A relative who is now deceased gave me this information BUT she also gave me another wife’s name for Pietro Saija, her name was Concetta Rizzo.

My relative listed a daughter named Maria Saija was born 12 July 1857 to Pietro Saija and Caterine Giordano. She married Antonio Venuto born 10 March 1855.

My relative told me a son was born to Pietro Saija and Concetta Rizzo named Michele Saija born 01 June 1866 married Rosa Insana, born 15 September 1861 died 18 October 1943.

My confussion comes with second generation when grandchildren of Pietro Saija with 2 different wives marry each other (see following): Maria Saija and Antonio Venuto had child: Pietro Venuto born 21 July 1881 died 14 January 1967 AND Concetta Latteria Saija born 03 June 1890 died 18 August 1975.

I want to prove that Pietro Saija was in fact married to two different women and that his grandchildren married each other.

ALL births, deaths, and marriages occurred in Rometta, Silcly.

Thank you for offering to help me with this family puzzle.
