I am looking for my family in Candela, the last names I have are Rocco, and Postiglione, don’t know about Gioia. Thank you for any help.
I’m trying to find records for my family, Valluzzi, in Candela, Italy.
I may visit Candela in Sept. 2017. My grandmother’s name was Elisabetta Siconolfi. I would love to see if her home is still standing. She married RalpH Rufino. I would like to see the church where they were married.
Am looking for more information about
Simone Ripandelli born in Candela February 23, 1844–baptized Feb 24.
His father was Francesco Paolo Ripandelli
His mother was Mariangiola Argentieri
I don’t know when he died or his first wife’s name or the names of their children.
His second wife was Maria Ciampolillo, who was much younger than he. I don’t know her birth date or her parents’ names. They had a son, Francesco Ripandelli, born 1887 in Candela.
Their son was my father’s father, and my grandfather. I’ve reached a dead-end in research on Ancestry and other sites and would appreciate any help or advice you can give me about Simone Ripandelli.
