My grear grandfather was from here born in 1873 Rocco Damiano. I know some of my relatives but not the ones that stayed in Italy. My grandmother always talked about the beauty here and how she missed it. She came to Boston at 11or 12. Maria Antonia.
She always told me that I needed to see for myself. I am going to visit and see it.

I’m looking into my great grandparents. My great grandfather Rocco Cerasuolo came to Boston in 1903. I think this was his second trip to the states. My great grandmother Maria Moriello never came to the states. My grandmother Concetta (Immaculata) in May of 1915 to Boston. In 1917 Rocco passed away in Boston. My grandmother married my grandfather Calegero Giampapa right before Rocco passed
I know my grandmother had 2 sisters (Erminia & Plinia) and a brother Gennaro. My grandmother and I visited Anzano in 1972 and she stayed with Gennaro and his wife Maria. I know both her sisters had daughters that emigrated to Toronto, Canada. We’ve met all of the but it has been years since we lost touch.
I know Gennaro & Maria passed in 1984 & 1985.
I’m working a family tree to leave as a source for the next generation. Any info would be helpful

I am searching for relatives in Anzano di Puglia, Italy. My grandfather was luigi Richardi and he sailed to America from Naples Italy to Boston Massachusetts USA in 1908. The ship manifest lists his birthplace as Anzano di Puglia, Italy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
I am interested in starting a search on my grandparents. I know very little about them and would love to find some information. Here is what i know:
Grandfather – Vito Albanese born in 1902, died 1968
Grandmother – Filomena Puopolo born in 1910, died 1999
I know they were married in Anzano and lived there, i still have family who live in Anzano, an aunt Giuseppina and an uncle Antonio.
I also know that my grandfather spent some time in jail when he was young, but i’m not sure the dates.
I hope that’s enough information to get started. Again, this is something i really wanted to learn about for quite a long time. My father, Mario Albanese came to Canada in 1971 and has lived here ever since. I am first generation born in Canada.
Please let me know how the process works and what you can tell me.
Thank you,
Filomena Alberto
